Bitcoin Crashes?

I like the principle of Bitcoin and crypto currency. The system is fair, if it becomes standard it could remove all problems current currency causes. Try inflation, it could be gone. Value of your money will remain the same for life. Borders will not mean much, exchange rate will be just some silliness from the past. You show up in Montreal or Brussels, buy a sandwich and no need to search for some paper money or stupid credit card.

Today Bitcoin dropped about 3 or 4% towards dollar. TV news and radio channels are shouting much nonsense as if this meant that a war is coming. Itwould be nicer if it were stable, but this is just a start. It is a new thing, not everybody is involved yet plus we compare something decent and mathematically proven with semi-fraud that is also called “Dollar”? We will have days like these and they mean nothing.

Bitcoin and crypto may now be good area for speculators, but that’s not what it is meant to be. It is solid and stable value that is safe and lasts forever. If we have a day like today or bad week or month, is it really bad? It is working to find its space in human life and some numbers will need to adjust up and down. Look at the entire 2024, it did not go up and down 2 or 3%:

We are around $100,000 per bitcoin now. We were around $40,000 year ago. Look at November – we were in sixties and nineties. Perfect for speculation, but this is just a start. If bitcoin survives and develops what it was meant to be, we will have a good chuckle next year when we look at these numbers.

If it survives … well, well, well. It should survive, because its principle is excellent. It is fair for everyone, it is about peace and calm and decency. It can go down and disappear, but not because of bad rules and principles, but because people who control our current currenct, stock markets, governments, they will try to defeat it. If bitcoin makes it, they will lose their jobs, money, richness, power. Or they will change bitcoin so it works for them just like dollar does now.
