I use Instacart because it helps me stay alive. And because I don’t have any other option – they have monopoly on food delivery service.
Last few deliveries were late. Not by 5 minutes, but several hours. And because this is Instacart, they text me about it several times. Not just “sorry, we are running late today”, but several times that they are late. And link to their poor web site, where you can read how late. Which is usually wrong too.
So if you insist or bothering people with stupid text messages, at least say something that will make it worthy to read it. Message could say that “sorry we are late, we will be there at about 4:45 pm, sorry for delay”. But to say that we will be late, check our poor web site for more info … ouch. Of course if you miss the message that text will come at least 5 more times. Are they working for a phone company?
Instacart is a good idea, but because of their low IQ it will take years before they figure out that the point of service is to serve customer. That would be us who place orders. If it is phone company, ok, I will start going to the store myself.
