Notes About Counting
Here are some important notes about counting to keep in mind.
Decimal Numbers
Decimal numbers are allowed and calculated correctly. Some cases with decimals may need an extra attention.
Example
5.43+3.78=9.21
4.14/3=1.38
Complex Numbers
Some operations of clean integer numbers result in complex decimals. nth root and divisions are good examples.
30v2=5.47722557505166
33/7=4.71428571428571
Some operations of certain numbers make very large results. And depending on result, it may be complex to read.
1000000*3000000=3000000000000
23^12=1.19911638487169E25
Types Of Counts
Examples above show simple operations of 2 numbers and also more complex operations with more numbers. Compare operation of 2+2= with 2+2+2+2= . It is easy for humans to imagine adding 4 numbers, but for calculator or software these are actually 3 operations.
More complex operations for us tend to be exponentiation and nth root.
Exponentiation
Exponentiation is almost as more complex multiplication. 2^3 is the same as 2*2*2 so two to the power of three equals to two times two times two. In fact 2^3 means to multiply base as many times as is the value of exponent.
nth Root
nth root can sometimes be imagined as the opposite of exponentiation. For example 64 of the 2nd degree equals 8. Also 8^2 or 8*8 equals 64. It is fairly easy for numbers that are easy to remember, for example 25, 49, 64, but have you tried 63? Or 99? Or 12345? This is where Okay comes very helpful and gives you the result in less than a second.
