WHAT CAN CHIMP DO
Chimp is the standard tool you have seen or heard of before. It can do plenty, but don't worry, it can be used by almost anyone with or without any prior computer experience. And here is a short what it can do:
- Type and create text for letters, articles, messages, stories, school or work projects.
- Do the same by importing text from other places and then edit or correct it. Copy and paste works perfectly.
- Keep your text safe and so save it to your hard drive. Of course. But you can also save it to second or third hard drive, flash card, tape drive or online with proper access.
- New or CTRL-N menu feature will prepare Chimp to be ready for another new text project.
- Text is what we talk about almost too much, but it is important to know that we follow the standard text format, it's not proprietary play – compatibility with other tools is crucial.
- If you have a message or letter or article and it needs to be emailed out and quickly, Chimp can help you. Click on Quick Email in File menu or press CTRL Q and your entire current document will be moved to your email program. It may not work with all email clients, but if it does, it is a real handy help!
- You wrote or imported some longer text documents and you need to find something. Chimp has a very powerful search function in menu or via shortcut CTRL-F.
- You have a long article for nature around school, but the kid who helped out wrote “rabbit” instead of “dear”, what to do? It takes only a few seconds to replace every rabbit with dear in your article and nobody is laughing!
- That type looks a little small and artsy when the Chimp was opened, but no worries, change the typeface and also change the type size. CTRL-T is the shortcut.
- It's a Chimp, most everything is easy to understand, but it has a simple and easily accessible help with an extra link that would take you to the online help. Which we maintain and keep up to date daily on our web site – come by!
- Help menu also offers one click access to our web site and to easily send emails to our sales or support.
- And About menu form shows you the basic information about your copy of Chimp. The name is there, its ID Code, status, registration.
- The most underestimated feature of Chimp is its encryption capability. It can encrypt any text of any length and it can also decrypt it. Underestimated – maybe – but this is also why we slightly overbuilt it. Encryption is available in three different levels.
- Those are all the basic features Chimp provides for you. It's also good to notice how you can easily get your own Chimp registration from the comfort of your home. Each Chimp copy has unique ID Code that you can see at Help > About page.
- Help menu also offers you a link to purchase Chimp registration license. Click and visit the page, complete your purchase, it's simple and inexpensive. As soon as we receive the note of your purchase, we will generate your unique unlocking code and send it to you.
